BRISTOL, CT (WFSB) -

A Bristol woman has been arrested for leaving two children unattended in her vehicle while she was shopping inside the Walgreens on Main Street.

Police said they were called to the parking lot just before 8:30 p.m. Wednesday after several bystanders noticed the kids in the car.

The children, ages 9 and 7, were unharmed, and police were able to locate the driver, Regina Curtis, inside the store.

Curtis was charged with two counts of leaving a child unattended in a public place and released on a $2,500 bond.
