TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Police arrested two men suspected of robbing a woman at gunpoint, firing a shot and taking off with her car.

32-year-old Jason Lee Harvey and 31-year-old Roberto Martinez are behind bars after an investigation of the July 21 incident, according to Tucson Police Sgt. Pete Dugan.

Police found the woman's car and attempted to pull it over near Oracle and Roger roads. One suspect ran from the scene and another drove the car away but both men were eventually caught after the car crashed into a curb.

Police found a handgun inside the car and said it matched a shell casing found at the scene. An investigation determined Martinez fired a shot while the two men allegedly robbed the woman at gunpoint in the carport of her home in the 3300 block of N. Country Club Road, Dugan said.

Authorities booked Harvey and Martinez into the Pima County Jail on charges of robbery, armed robbery and aggravated robbery. Martinez was also charged with prohibited possessor, felony fleeing, felony criminal damage and discharging a firearm within city limits.
