A doll is doling out some controversy online.

The You & Me Mommy Change My Diaper Doll, which is sold by Toys "R" Us, includes realistic male genitalia, and that's not sitting right with some mothers.

The toy has actually been available for several years but has only now started garnering attention. The toy is sold online here, but does not include a picture or warning.

Parents have turned to social media websites like Facebook to express their surprise and displeasure.

One woman posted the complete nude photo of the doll, but it has since been deleted from her account.

A writer for a website called wrote that she didn't understand the outrage.

"When did it become taboo to talk about body parts with our kids?" asked Monica Beyer.

Beyer argued that it's not inappropriate for a child to see a naked baby. She said a penis or vulva on a baby is not dirty or sexual.

"The truth is, when a child points out the body part that she doesn't have, all a parent is required to do is call it by its name."
