BRISTOL, CT (WFSB) -

The Bristol Police Department arrested a man for a road rage incident that involved a gun. 

The incident occurred on Barnes Highway at about 2:25 p.m. on Sunday. 

Officials discovered that Brett Cutler, 42 of Wolcott, was driving on Barnes Highway and yelled at another driver about how that person was driving. Cutler then pointed a gun at that driver, according to police. 

According to police, Cutler had another adult and two small children in his vehicle with him when this incident happened. 

Cutler has a valid pistol permit, according to police. 

He was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment first degree, risk of injury to a minor, threatening second degree and breach of peace. 

Cutler was released after posting a $10,000 bond.
