TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A hearing ended on Thursday for a seventh suspect charged in the shooting death of border patrol agent Brian Terry.

Rosario Rafael Burboa-Alvarez entered a "not guilty" plea during his arraignment in Tucson federal court.

Burboa-Alvarez was indicted on murder, assault and conspiracy charges, according to police.

Agent Terry was killed in December 2010 during a shootout with suspected border bandits near Rio Rico. Weapons found at the scene were traced to the botch federal gun tracking sting called Operation Fast and Furious.

Court documents describe Burboa-Alvarez as the recruiter of a crew of armed robbers who planned to rip off marijuana smugglers.

Burboa-Alvarez was already in custody in Tucson for immigration-related crimes.
