A California man has been arrested trying to convince Valley women into prostitution.
In a joint investigation, detectives from the FBI and the Phoenix Police Department posed as escorts online.
This week, Terry Santos Boyland, 35, began chatting on a social media site with a woman he thought to be a 19-year-old woman who needed money. He encouraged her to become a prostitute and said he'd take care of her advertising and the driving for 50 percent of her profits.
He also said he'd take her to Las Vegas to meet customers in the casinos.
They arranged a meeting on Wednesday and he was arrested.
