The University of Cincinnati is investigating potential threats made against the school Wednesday, including a bomb threat made to multiple universities across Ohio.
Shortly after noon, the university received a single, anonymous phone call threatening "to come to campus and shoot people."
Around the same time, the UC Police Department also said a series of bomb threats were made on Twitter against multiple schools across Ohio, including UC.
The university said the threats did not appear to be credible. Authorities are investigating the source of both the phone call and tweets in partnership with the FBI and Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
The university said they were also increasing patrols on the main campus.
