National Popcorn Day recipes

In honor of National Popcorn Day, some flavorful recipes will spice up the delicious treat.

Chili Cheddar Cheese Popcorn

. 12 cups Popcorn (popped)

. ½ tspn salt

. 1 cup Cheddar Cheese Powder

. 1 tspn Mustard

. 1 teaspoon Chilli Powder

. ½ cup butter

o Place butter into a small frying pan and melt over a low flame (careful not to burn).

o Stir in the spices and remove from heat.

o Add the cheddar cheese this should form a thin paste, pour over the popcorn and toss to coat.

o Pre- Heat oven to 220° spread the popcorn out on a cookie sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes stirring occasionally.

Honey- Siracha

. 12 cups Popcorn (popped)

. ½ Cup Butter

. ½ Cup Siracha

. ½ Cup Honey

o Place butter into a small frying pan and melt over a low flame (careful not to burn).

o Stir in the Siracha & Honey.

o Pour over the popcorn and toss to coat.

o Pre- Heat oven to 220° spread the popcorn out on a cookie sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes stirring occasionally.

BBQ- Bacon

. 12 cups Popcorn (popped)

. 1 cup Stews BBQ Sauce

. 1 package Pre-Cooked Bacon (about 14 slices diced)

o Pour BBQ over the popcorn and toss to coat. Add Bacon.

o Pre- Heat oven to 220° spread the popcorn out on a cookie sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes stirring occasionally.
