A man in Meriden has been charged with a number of sex-related crimes, including the molestation of children.
Police said Antonio Montesdeoca, 22, is accused of molesting two children.
The victims were ages 12 and 10 and the abuse began in 2009 and continued for the next few years, according to police.
Montesdeoca knew the victims, police said.
For the first victim, he was charged with first-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a minor and second-degree threatening. His bond was set at $150,000.
For the second victim, he was charged with fourth-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor. The court-set bond for that case was also set at $150,000.
Montesdeoca given a court date of Tuesday for both cases.
