Following a three-month investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct by employees at the York Women's Correctional Facility, another arrest has been made.

Connecticut State Police said they arrested 34-year-old Kareem Dawson on Tuesday after he turned himself in to police.

He was charged with second-degree sexual assault and was held on a $25,000 bond. He is expected to appear in court on July 16.

Officials from the state's Department of Corrections said Dawson is being placed on administrative leave effective July 2, which is his next scheduled work day.

Officials said he was hired on Dec. 9, 2005.

In the beginning of February police arrested 47-year-old Jeff Bromley, of Niantic, who is also being charged with second-degree sexual assault.

Authorities say the 46-year-old Bromley bought food and small gifts for the inmate, took photographs of her and had sex with her in a prison basement and laundry room.

On April 3, another arrest was made in this case. Police arrested 44-year-old Matt Gillette of Groton, who was also charged with second-degree sexual assault.
