Showers are possible for Saturday afternoon and evening.
WFSB Meteorologist Bruce DePrest said the forecast for Saturday has been changing throughout the week.
"The forecast for tomorrow, the 4th, has not become any clearer, which is quite frustrating," DePrest said.
After a "gorgeous day" on Friday, DePrest said the models show that Saturday could be dry, a few showers, or a steady rain in the afternoon and evening.
"I am not exactly sure what model to trust, but I am leaning toward the European solution. For now, plan on showers Saturday with temperatures rising no higher than the 70s due to abundant cloud cover," DePrest said.
Sunday, though, still appears to be the better day of the weekend as it will be dry with a mix of sun and areas of fog.
"I am much more confident Sunday will be the better of the 2 weekend days," DePrest said.
Temperatures will reach 80s on Sunday.
"Thanks to high pressure, Sunday will feature mostly sunny skies, the humidity will drop to more comfortable levels, and it will become quite warm," DePrest said.
