For the third day in a row, beachgoers headed to Rocky Neck State Park in East Lyme and as of lunch time, state officials said the park was at full capacity.
The closure at Rocky Neck State Park in East Lyme was reported by the Department of Transportation just after 12:30 p.m.
Members of the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection said Squantzs Pond State Park in New Fairfield was at "full parking capacity as of 12 noon" and same happened to Mount Tom State Park in Lichfield around 11 a.m. on Sunday.
Pattaconk Lake recreation area in Cockaponset State Forest reached full parking capacity at 1 p.m. around while Silver Sands State Park in Milford, Millers Pond State Park in Durham and Gardiner Lake State Park in Salem reached it at 1:30 p.m.
