Man arrested for kidnapping, stalking and carjacking

MIDDLETOWN, CT (WFSB) -

A man faces kidnapping, stalking and assault charges in Middletown.

Police said Aaron Marquise Davis was arrested on Tuesday in Meriden.

Specifics about the case were not released, but police said they charged Davis with first-degree kidnapping, first-degree burglary, violation of protective order, second-degree larceny, carjacking, two counts of third-degree assault, interfering with an investigation, first-degree unlawful restraint, first-degree reckless endangerment and stalking.

Police said they had a warrant for an incident that happened on July 14.

Davis was given a court date of Wednesday and faced a judge at 9 a.m.

Police said they held him on a $150,000 bond.
