HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

Six vehicles were involved in crash in the capitol city on Friday afternoon after police said a stolen car rammed into Hartford police cruisers.

Two officers were rushed to Saint Francis Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after the crash in the area of Main Street and Mahl Avenue around 4 p.m. A third officer suffered a minor injury, police said.

Police said the incident started when officers tried to pull over the suspect. However, the suspect rammed into their cruisers and fled the scene, police said.

The suspect, who police said was uninjured, was in custody.

Two citizens were also taken to Saint Francis Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
