Starting tomorrow through September 27 It's the Falkner Island Lighthouse Tours in Guilford CT, The Faulkner's Island Lighthouse has been a beacon in Long Island Sound for over 200 years and is the second oldest light house in CT ( New London Harbor Lighthouse is the oldest) Learn how the island got its name, listen to shipwreck stories, try your hand at tying nautical knots and creating signal flag messages, and much more! Admission to the exhibit also includes self-guided tours of the 1639 Whitfield House.
Tomorrow & Sunday it's the Food Truck Festival at The Big E Fairgrounds with over 40 Food Trucks from New England, bands both days and lots of family entertainment! Just like The Big E, get there early for parking and pack in the FUN AND FOOD!! Both days start at noon, Saturday closes at 8pm and Sunday 6pm.
