It is an Early Warning Weather Day because isolated showers and thunderstorms are a possibility throughout the state on Saturday.
The state saw a mix of sun and clouds with warm weather, but the chance of showers is increasing.
According to Meteorologist Mike Cameron, showers with heavy downpours have popped up in eastern New York, the Berkshires and in northwestern Connecticut.
Some of the cells could be strong, but it seems like the stronger storms will be north of Connecticut.
There are no watches or warnings for any part of the state at this point.
"Tomorrow will be the better of the two weekend days, as the risk of a shower will be close to zero. We will enjoy a mostly sunny, warm day with highs in the mid to upper 80s," Cameron said.
