A clerk was arrested for slashing a customer after an argument over the cigarette sales outside a store in Hartford on Sunday afternoon.
Officers were called to the MBA Super Deli at 99 New Britain Ave. around noon. Upon arrival, police determined that the store clerk, 30-year-old Victor Parry got into a fight with a customer after the customer asked to buy one cigarette.
The two started fighting outside of the store that's when police said Parry slashed him.
The unidentified customer suffered lacerations to left hand, shoulder, elbow, police said. The customer was taken to the hospital and police did not release his condition.
