HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

The Liberty Bank SurPRIZE Squad got a little scientific for its latest surprise.

It headed to the Connecticut Science Center in Hartford and gave some special folks the gift of a little summer fun.

In addition to its many exhibits, it’s also a chance to get out of the heat. For many, that’s just what the day was.

Little did the people in line realize that the Liberty Bank SurPRIZE Squad had a few tricks on its sleeves.

A number of families were surprised by the squad and its members.

“That is so super awesome,” said Ingrid Hanka of Mansfield Center. “Thank you so much.  That's amazing.”

"Oh my God,” said Kelly Richards of Tolland. “That's awesome. Wow. Thank you so much."

When the line became filled with people waiting for tickets, the squad unveiled its biggest surprise.

It paid for the entire crowd.

Check out a slideshow of the event here.
