Man shot in East Hartford commuter lot identified by state police

EAST HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

A man shot in an East Hartford commuter parking lot is expected to live, according to state police.

Troopers identified him as 26-year-old Gregory Clark.

They had been on the scene off of Route 15 north near exit 90 investigating since 10 p.m. on Thursday.

While Clark was shot in the lot, troopers said he was found in a car at the intersection of Main Street and Silver Lane.

He was taken to Hartford Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Initially, East Hartford police received the call, but state police took over because the shooting happened on state property.

The scene was searched for other victims, witnesses and possible suspects. No other victims were found.

Investigators have not said I they have any suspects in mind.

They did say that there is no threat to the community or public.
