2 hurt in South Norwalk shooting

SOUTH NORWALK, CT (WFSB) -

Two people were shot near a public housing complex in South Norwalk Thursday night.

Police said it happened on the Raymond Street side of the Washington Village Housing Complex.

When they arrived shortly after 9:30 p.m., they found the victims. One suffered an arm injury and the other had abdomen and leg injuries.

Both were transported to Norwalk Hospital in stable condition.

Along with speaking to residents and eyewitnesses, police said they were able to preserve and collect evidence.

Detectives assumed the investigation and asked anyone with information to give them a call at 203-854-3011.
