MERIDEN, CT (WFSB) -

A television attorney found killed in California home last month will be laid to rest on Friday.

The funeral for Loredana Nesci, 47, is set for 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Meriden, according to her obituary.

Nesci, who is a Meriden-native, rose to fame as a "legal diva." Her latest project was a television show called Loredana Esq., which aired on Sundance TV.

Her family said she'd been an on-camera legal personality since 2004. She had a syndicated radio show called "The LowwDown with the Legal Diva" in 2008.

She still has brothers in the Meriden Police Department.

Nesci was found dead on July 22 at her home in Redondo Beach, CA.

Police said they arrested her longtime boyfriend, 51-year-old Robert Reagan. They said the two had some kind of altercation.

They have not released how Nesci died.

The Nesci family said friends and the community were welcome to attend the memorial services. A Christian burial will follow the church ceremony.
