Hartford police said a man who told them he was going to a party was shot at several times by two masked men.
The victim told officer he had arrived at 96 Russ St. around 12:30 a.m. to attend a party and when he got out of his car he was approached by two men in masks that begun shooting at him.
The suspects fled prior to police arrival.
The victim was taken to Hartford Hospital suffering from gunshot wounds to his left and right legs. His injuries are considered non-life threatening, police said.
Few details were available about the suspects, but police said they are believed to have been Hispanic males and were armed with handguns.
