A couple of YouTube video bloggers took the internet by storm last week by posting a video of a father revealing to his wife that they were pregnant.

That backward moment of joy quickly turned to anguish for Sam and Nia of Texas who posted a followup video that said the pregnancy ended with a miscarriage.

"The emptiness and heartache that comes with a miscarriage came as a total shock and we are coping with this, but wanted to include you," the caption to their video reads. "There is a stigma regarding miscarriage that says we need to be alone in it and keep it private, but what happened is nothing less than losing a baby. The hurt and pain is real."

The video is titled "Our Baby Had a Heartbeat."

The couple offered an outlet for people to talk about miscarriage. They posted their email address,, under the video, but asked anyone who emails to keep it about the topic of miscarriage.
