WATERTOWN, CT (WFSB) -

Four people are facing charges following a home invasion in Watertown that happened earlier this month.

Police said it all started at the Thirsty Goat on Scovill Street in Waterbury where the victim was accused of stealing a purse.

When the victim left, police said at least five people followed, broke in to his home and forced him to return to the bar, where they assaulted him.

Several arrests were made regarding the incident, and several more are expected.

The male victim sustained numerous injuries including fractures.

Those arrested include Anthony Carrol, 26, Caiyle Mckenzie, 26, Marnie Sbordone, 27, and 33-year-old Matthew Shea.
