SOUTHINGTON, CT (WFSB) -

An 18-year-old from Southington is accused of exposing and fondling himself at a park on Monday.

Police said witnesses told them Timothy Delaney walked out from behind a privacy wall near a restroom at Panthorn Park on Burritt Street and pulled his shorts down.

Witnesses said at that point, he exposed himself and his genitals. He reportedly did it several times.

During the incidents, there were about 30 girls present nearby, according to police. All of them were between the ages of 9 and 12. They were on the lacrosse field less than 40 feet from the restrooms.

Police said there were a number of other family members and park goers in the vicinity as well.

Delaney was charged with public indecency, second-degree breach of peace and risk of injury to a minor.

He was processed and held on a $5,000 bond. He was also scheduled to face a judge on Wednesday.
