Police search for man accused of bank robbery in Berlin

BERLIN, CT (WFSB) -

Police are searching for the person responsible for a bank robbery in Berlin on Thursday afternoon.

Police said the TD Bank, which is located at 1127 Farmington Ave., was robbed by one man just before 5 p.m.

According to police, the unidentified man handed a teller a note and demanded money. He fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

The man was wearing a Yankee baseball cap, gray shorts and a black tee shirt with a white tee shirt underneath at the time of the robbery, police said.

He is being described as 6’ man with a slim build. The suspect is believed to be 25-35 years old and with dark short hair.

Police released a photo of the suspect to the media on Friday.
