Police said there are “very suspicious circumstances” surround the disappearance of a Hartford woman.
Tashauna Jackson, 23, has not been seen since Tuesday when police said she entered a man’s car around 11 p.m. Police said she was seen entering this unidentified man’s vehicle “of her own free will.”
Since that night, the man and the vehicle have been located by police, however Jackson has not been found.
The man’s vehicle was seized by Hartford police.
Police have conducted searches for Jackson, but with negative results.
Police said that Jackson has never gone missing before.
“While the circumstances surrounding this disappearance do not fall under the criteria of a Silver or Amber Alert, investigators are extremely concerned with Ms Jackson's safety,” Hartford Police Deputy Chief Brian J. Foley said in a release on Friday.
Anyone with any information about her disappearance is asked to call the Hartford Police Department at 860-757-4214 or leave anonymous tips by clicking here.
