Rescue crews from several departments spent hours Saturday night into early Sunday searching for a missing hiker in Gay City State Park in Hebron.
A 911 call was received about 8 p.m. Saturday from a 32-year-old female who had left the marked trail and found herself lost in the woods.
Crews from the State Econ Police, Connecticut State Police, Glastonbury Police & Fire, Hebron Fire, Manchester Emergency Response, Columbia Rescue and Coventry Rescue all assisted in searching for the woman.
Officials with the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection said the hiker was found around 1:30 a.m. Sunday southwest of the pond inside the park boundaries.
She was evaluated by EMS at the scene.
