Chipotle plans to go on a one-day hiring binge to bolster its ranks.
During the restaurant chain’s first-ever National Career Day event, it said it will seek to hire 4,000 workers in a single day.
Open interviews will be conducted for up to 60 applicants at each of its roughly 1,700 U.S. locations.
In Connecticut, the locations include Canton, Darien, Enfield, Glastonbury, Hamden, the Connecticut Post Mall, Newington, Corbins Corner in West Hartford, Campo Acres in Westport, the Danbury Fair Mall, I-91 northbound CT Welcome Center in Darien, Fairfield, Greenwich, Buckland Hills in Manchester, Yale in New Haven, Riverside and West Hartford’s Farmington Avenue location.
Chipotle recently added college tuition reimbursement, paid sick days and competitive hourly wages.
The company claims to have promoted more than 10,000 of its employees into management roles.
Chipotle’s National Career Day is set for Sept. 9 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
