Fair season is around the corner and one of New England’s favorites is the Big E.
There’s entertainment, games, rides, and plenty of unique food creations to please every taste bud.
This year, officials from the Big E announced some new dishes that will be available for fair-goers.
Some of the new food creations include the Turducken Sandwich, comprised of turkey, duck, chicken and stuffing served like a grilled cheese.
The Meatball Factory will be serving up The Big Rib, which is a 10 ounce rib-eye on the bone.
For those looking to satisfy their bacon craving can head over to Ultimate BBQ in the Food Court to find the Choco Baco Frenzy, where guests can customize their chocolate-covered bacon with any kind of topping, like coconut, walnuts, heath bar and more.
There will also be the new Maple Bacon Waffle Sundae with vanilla custard topped with bacon and maple syrup or served on a waffle with bacon inside.
There’s always the deep fried Oreos, s’mores on a stick, deep fried Nutella, a fried peanut butter and banana sandwich, and new this year is the deep fried apple pie.
For anyone who can’t decide between food and drink doesn’t have to. There will be the new V-1 Deep Fried Martini.
There is always the beloved favorites at the Big E, like a cream puff or the Big Éclair, along with the Big E Craz-E Burger, which is a bacon cheeseburger served between two halves of a grilled glazed donut.
Along with all of these options, there will be international foods, healthier options as well as gluten-free foods available.
The Big E takes place Sept. 18 to Oct. 4 in West Springfield, Mass.
