Actor Kevin Bacon definitely won't be getting Footloose when he comes to Connecticut this fall.
He's starring in an adaptation of Alfred Hitchcock's film Rear Window, Hartford Stage announced on Tuesday.
The 1954 classic film, based off Cornell Woolrich's story, tells the tale of a man in a wheelchair who witnesses a possible murder.
According to Hartford Stage, the show was adapted for the stage by Keith Reddin.
It will be directed by Darko Tresnjack, who had a hand in Broadway's "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder."
Bacon is a Golden Globe winner who's known for his roles in Apollo 13, Footloose and Mystic River.
The show will be on from Oct. 22 to Nov. 15.
Ticket prices range from $35 to $95.
