HAMDEN, CT (WFSB) -

The theft of electronics and power tools from a business in Hamden led police to a Boston man.

According to police, Mainor Miranda, 32, threw an object through the front window of a business on Dudley Street on July 20.

Miranda entered the store, took the items and defecated on the floor, police said.

Police obtained an arrest warrant for the suspect through their investigation.

Miranda was at Meriden Superior Court on Aug. 28 for another case when Hamden police arrested him.

He was charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny and first-degree criminal mischief.

Police said Miranda was detained on a $50,000 bond.
