NEW LONDON, CT (WFSB) -

An autopsy performed on Saturday confirmed what New London detectives suspect caused the death of a 26-year-old woman from Quaker Hill Friday.

The body of Emily Eshenfelder was discovered around 8 a.m. behind the Roadhouse bar on Bank Street.

Initially investigators suspected the death may have been accidental, possibly from a fall.

The investigation into the death of Eshenfelder continues.

The woman's family writes in an obituary that Eshenfelder was the manager of the family-owned business in New London, Captain Scott's Lobster Dock.
