Prices at the pump have been falling since June.

According to AAA, the average price nationally of unleaded gasoline is now $2.39 per gallon, which is more than $1 less than it was one year ago.

In Connecticut, the average price at the pump is $2.55, which is the lowest since April.

Nationally, the price of gas this Labor Day weekend is the lowest it has been in more than 10 years.

AAA officials said once the travel season comes to a close, there will be less of a demand so the price of gas is expected to fall even more quickly.
