A reward is being offered for any information leading to an arrest of the man responsible for at least seven bank robberies throughout the state.
Investigators are trying to locate “an older, gray/green Honda Civic, most likely a 1996-1998 model,” that is believed to be used in the robberies. The vehicle is believed to have “very heavy front-end damage with the front bumper missing” as well as “passenger-side damage and a loud exhaust.”
The vehicle and suspect are linked to the robberies at banks in the following locations:
Police said, during the robberies, the man “speaks or pretends to speak on a cell phone.”
The suspect is being described by police as tall, thin man with an athletic build. Police said he was wearing shorts and a baseball cap as well as sunglasses.
The Connecticut Bankers Reward Association is offering a $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest of the bank robbery suspect.
