A Southwest flight was diverted to Bradley International Airport on Monday afternoon because of a mechanical issue.
Southwest Flight 776 was traveling from Providence, R.I. to Orlando, Fl. When it was diverted.
Airport officials said the flight landed safely and the aircraft is being inspected.
The runway it landed on was temporarily closed for safety reasons, however it has since reopened.
