Bristol police are searching for the people responsible for throwing things like condiments onto vehicles.
Ketchup and mustard were thrown on the windshield and hood of a car in Bristol recently.
“I don't think we were targeted. I just think it's kids being kids and it's got to stop,” said Victoria Corliss of Bristol, who said she woke up on Sunday morning and saw the mess.
“It had ketchup all over the side of it, and we thought it was paint at first so I came running out here and then I smelled vinegar,” she said.
Not one, but two of her vehicles were hit, and the evidence was scattered along the street.
“Balsamic vinaigrette, ketchup, we found a gallon of milk on top of his van and a honey Dijon mustard bottle,” Corliss said.
She added that other cars in the neighborhood were also hit, but it was much worse.
“Her gas cap was open and the gas cap removed and there was ketchup put in the gas tank, from what we heard,” Corliss added. “The family spent hours cleaning up the mess but damage has already been done. You can see the paint has started to fade in some spots.”
The family said they filed a police report with Bristol police.
Anyone who has damage to their vehicle should call police and file a report.
