Job seekers won't have to look far for career opportunities on Thursday.
Goodwill of western and northwestern Connecticut is hosting a Hartford Making Connections Career Fair.
WFSB partnered with Goodwill for the event.
The organization said that last year, it helped nearly 2,000 people find jobs, an average of more than five people per day.
Attendees will have the chance to take part in workshops like personal branding, resume review and older job seekers.
This year, 35 companies said they will be hiring for more than 1,700 positions.
The organization's employer guide can be found here.
The career fair starts at 11 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m. It's happening on the Goodwill campus on New Park Avenue in Hartford.
Registration closed at midnight, but the organization said walk-ins are welcome.
