A drug sale spotted by police in New London has landed four people behind bars.
Paul Lapointe, 50, Sean Shea, 37, Jeffrey Fernandes, 47, and 21-year-old Joseph Allen all face drug-related charges.
Police said they were patrolling the Waterfront Park Area around 7:30 p.m. on Thursday when they saw the transactions.
Lapointe was charged with possession of hallucinogens, tampering with evidence and interfering with police.
Shea was charged with possession of hallucinogens and possession with intent to sell.
Fernandez was charged with possession of hallucinogens.
Allen was also charged with possession of hallucinogens.
Police said all of the suspects were taken into custody and held at police headquarters.
