East Hartford commuter lot shooting turns into homicide case

EAST HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

A man shot at a commuter lot in East Hartford last month has died from his injuries, according to police.

The victim was identified as 27-year-old Gregory Clark of Manchester.

State police said Clark died on Sept. 17. His death was ruled a homicide by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

Troopers said he was shot on Aug. 6 at the commuter lot off of Route 15 northbound near exit 90. 

At the time, they believed Clark to be transported to Hartford Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No other victims were located.

The Central District Major Crimes Squad has detectives continuing the investigation.
