Sunday marked National Vodka Day.
The distillation and fermentation grains, potatoes, fruits or sugar is celebrated every Oct. 4, according to NationalDayCalendar.com.
Traditionally, prepared vodkas have an alcoholic content of percent by volume. In the U.S., however, vodka must have an alcoholic content of 30 percent or more.
One of the most popular ways to drink it is "on the rocks."
