The man suspected of robbing a bank in Mystic section of Stonington on Tuesday morning could be responsible for other robberies and attempted ones, according to authorities.
The robbery was reported at the Citizens Bank on Broadway Avenue just after 9 a.m.
Police said the suspect did not have a weapon. He fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
The Stonington Police Department is investigating the robbery along with Federal Bureau of Investigation, U.S. Marshals, the Connecticut State Police and Groton town police.
Police said the suspect could be involved in attempted robbery in Westerly, R.I., a robbery in East Lyme on Friday and a robbery in Richmond, R.I.
