The case made national headlines after Bridgeport police released video of the teen’s daring escape.
The video showed the teen hoping out of Randall’s moving car at the corner of Boston and Palisade Avenue.
"[It was] just an offer of ‘hey, it’s cold out this morning, could I give you a ride to school?’" said Mike Dimeglio, Bridgeport police. "We have absolutely no reason to believe that they knew each other whatsoever."
Police said Randall has an extensive criminal record that includes robbery, larceny and selling narcotics.
In last Monday’s incident, she was charged with sexual assault, unlawful restrain and reckless endangerment.
Randall is being held on a $100,000 bond.
