STRATFORD, CT (WFSB) -

A former teacher's aide in the Stratford school system was arrested for having sexual contact with a teenage boy.

Police said 28-year-old Michelle Sulzicki turned herself in to police on Wednesday.

According to police, they began investigating on Sept. 24 after allegations surfaced about inappropriate contact between an adult female and a teenage boy.

Police said the two had a 3-year relationship, which started when the boy was 12 years old. He is now in high school.

Sulzicki was the boy's tutor.

According to court documents, the boy told police that the incidents always took place at his home, often while his parents were in another room.

The teen stated that he had sex with Sulzicki 15 to 20 times over a period of two years, according to court paperwork.

He reportedly told a social worker about the relationship in late September.

When questioned by police, Sulzicki denied the allegations at first, but then she "eventually admitted to having sexual intercourse with the victim only once while the victim was in 6th grade, going into 7th grade," court documents said.

Sulzicki is married and has a daughter.

"The victim said he found out that Michelle was pregnant a short time after the last time they had sex," court paperwork said.

The victim said he was not sure if he is the father.

Sulzicki was later arrested in connection with the investigation.

Police said she was charged with first-degree sexual assault, second-degree sexual assault, illegal sexual contact with a minor and risk of injury to a minor.

Stratford Superintendent of Schools Dr. Janet M. Robinson said they are in the process of terminating Sulzicki. She was a special education teacher at Straftord's Chapel Street School.

"There is zero tolerance for this type of behavior. As educators our mission is to protect and educate all student and at all times act in their very best interests," Robinson said.

Police said she was unable to post her $100,000 bond and transported to Bridgeport Superior Court. She is expected to appear in court next month.
