Two people were taken to the hospital following a crash in Plainfield Friday night.
The accident occurred along Cemetery Road just after 10:30 p.m. according to Plainfield police.
Police said a vehicle driven by 43-year-old Helen Meskiewicz of Griswold lost control and would up in a ditch off the roadway.
Rescue crews had to extricate Meskiewicz and her passenger, 49-year-old Gerard Morin of Canterbury, from the vehicle.
Morin was flown by a Life Star helicopter to Providence Hospital and Meskiewicz was taken by ambulance to Backus Hospital in Norwich, police said.
Both are listed in stable condition and the crash remains under investigation.
