FARMINGTON, CT (WFSB) -

Farmington police are looking for the man who robbed the Webster Bank on High Street Saturday morning.

According to police, the suspect walked into the bank around 9:40 a.m. and handed the teller a note indicating he was robbing the bank.

The suspect then gestured towards his waistband implying he had a weapon, but no weapon was ever shown, police said.

Police described the suspect as a black man, about 6' - 6'2" tall wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and a maroon New York Yankees hat.

He was last seen leaving the area of the bank on foot.  Police attempted to track the suspect with a K-9, but the track stopped not far from the bank where police believe the suspect entered a waiting vehicle.

Anyone with information should contact the Farmington Police Department at 860-675-2400 or their tipline at 860-675-2483.
