The city sidewalks, busy sidewalks dressed in holiday style are enough to draw in holiday travelers to Connecticut.
According to the personal finance website WalletHub, two Connecticut areas have made its list of 2015’s best cities for winter holiday travel.
The Hartford, West Hartford and East Hartford area ranked 18 out of 32.
The region’s travel costs and hassles rank was 24, its local costs rank was 25, its attractions rank was 28, its weather conditions rank was 4 and its cold weather activities rank was 28.

Last but not least on the list was the Bridgeport, Stamford, Norwalk area.
WalletHub said Americans aren’t expected to cut back on their winter travel spending this year. It cited a State of the American Traveler survey as saying that a third of people plan to increase their leisure travel spending.
For its survey, WalletHub said it analyzed two weeks of flight data for 69 of the largest metropolitan statistical areas. It also looked at 26 key metrics including cheap flights to the number of winter attractions.
