HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

The governor is expected to make remarks about an impending revenue shortfall on Tuesday.

Gov. Dannel Malloy said he’ll discuss the state budget at the Connecticut Conference of Municipalities 33rd annual convention and exposition.

On Monday, Malloy called for a bipartisan meeting between both Democrats and Republicans after the Office of Policy and Management revealed a forecasted $120 million revenue shortfall.

It came a month after Malloy announced $102 million in spending reductions that affected Executive Branch agencies and the Judicial Branch, among other government departments.

As with the rescissions in September, Malloy cited a downturn on Wall Street and that people are making less money.

He said as a result, more hard decisions would have to be made which could include even more cuts.

Malloy plans on delivering his comments at 9:30 a.m. at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford.
