It was an early morning for the candidates running for mayor of Hartford.
Luke Bronin, Ted Cannon and Joel Cruz Jr. squared off in a debate at the Society Room.
Questions focused on economic growth and public safety.
The three candidates agreed that public safety is the most pressing issue of the campaign.
To date, Bronin has raised nearly $1 million and appears to be the strong favorite to win in November.
