HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

The governor is scheduled to meet with high school students to discuss the state's economic future.

Gov. Dannel Malloy said he'll speak with a group from Hartford's High School, Inc. around 11:15 a.m.

High School, Inc. calls itself a college preparatory independent school for students interested in pursuing careers in the insurance and financial services industries.

Earlier this week, Malloy urged both Democrats and Republicans to work together to address an impending revenue shortfall.

The Office of Policy and Management projected a $120 million shortfall.

As result, Malloy said everyone would have to make some hard decisions when it came to potential cuts.

Malloy already announced $102 in budget rescissions last month. Those affected the Executive Branch agencies and the Judicial Branch.
